Hello Friends, Hello December!
How are you all doing?  I hope all is well with everyone!
Welcome new followers!
I will be sharing
 Creative Handmade Christmas Creations
through out the month of December.
I believe handmade Christmas gifts are from the heart and bring a lot
of  LOVE and JOY to Christmas!
Here is the First Christmas Creation of December!
I Spy Ornaments
My kids received these adorable ornaments last year.
Every year my kids receive a handmade ornament from Grandma.
The I Spy Ornament was our ornament from last year.
(I've waited all year to show you!)
I think they are adorable!

I Spy Ornaments are simple to make.  You can easily make them with
the following supplies:
Clear Ornaments
Glitter Snow
funnel
Christmas Buttons
Minature Ornaments
Ribbon and Glue
laminated I Spy List
Be sure to glue top of ornament securely.
I Spy Ornaments look cute in a cupcake box or secure it to the top of a gift.
I think the "Merry Christmas Window Box" (Walmart)
I showed in a earlier post works great!

Here is a wonderful Handmade Project that will benefit children from Arizona.
 Arizona Children's Center-
Childhelp Children's Advocacy Center
America's largest nonprofit serving the needs of abused
and neglected children

This is what's possible when you CREATE with HEART!
Nearly 200 Handmade Christmas Stockings were made from
The Arizona Sewing Circle "Sit and Sew" group from
The Old World Quilt Shop in Cave Creek, Arizona

The word of their project spread and the group of six were able to gather additional donations including bags full of stocking stuffers, toiletries, socks, coloring books, crayons, toothpaste and toothbrushes.

The center is in need of a couple more sponsors/groups to donate about 50-75 more handmade
Christmas Stockings, so every child who visits the center
leading up to Christmas will have a Stocking filled with gifts.

Thank you to Daphne Young Director, Public Relations for Childhelp
for sharing this wonderful opportunity to reach out and help.
"The children of Childhelp need community support more than ever,
so your kind attention will make a big difference. Thank you for embodying the joy of the season!"

I  visited this fabulous Quilt Shop in Cave Creek, Arizona just last month!
It's worth the visit!
I'm sure every stocking created from this fabulous shop was beautifully done and
from the Heart!
Quilters share a special bond when it comes to GIVING and HELPING others.
Love is the magic of Christmas!

A Poem of Gratitude for Brenda and Friends of Deck the Halls of Home with Joy
Thank You for Brightening the Season for the Children of Childhelp

Blessed is the season which engages the whole world in a conspiracy of love!                 ~Hamilton Wright Mabie

Dear Brenda and Friends of Deck the Halls of Home with Joy:

Holidays are the time of year when the world conspires in love
And special friends like you bring joyful tidings to every child
Peace drifts into our souls on the wings of a white winter dove
Providing the heartfelt hope which truly makes the season while
Yuletide gifts that save our children seem sent from Heaven above

Having such strong supporters for the little ones in our care
Opens windows of wonder and doorways of bright future dreams
Loving them enough to donate the precious gifts you share
Is so much more miraculous and magical than it seems
Deeds or kind actions soothe children’s spirits when words fail to heal
And this lovely gesture shone with the hard work of your brilliance
You have illuminated lives and taught boys and girls to feel
Secure, safe, loved, joyful, strong, serene and filled with resilience.

For the love of a child,
